The next time you are in the library, be sure to buy your new eco-friendly book bag.

Henry and Fritz, who I admit are my grandsons, show off the new Friends of the Library eco-friendly book bags. The bags, which say, “Peninsula Friends of the Library,” are only $2 each, so get yours now at any of the branches or at the Library Shop. There are limited bags available. 

At the Malaga Cove book sale this past Saturday, Henry and Fritz managed to fill up their bag with enough used books to last weeks–for only $19, including one book their mom said they had been looking at in Barnes and Noble the day before for four times the price. Fritz, though he’s never been there, snagged a book about New York as he longs to visit and see the Brooklyn Bridge. Henry proudly shows off his “Ships of the World” book–and the book bag that we hope everyone in the community will buy.
